JOB SUMMARY
Snow School Instructor Assistant is a volunteer seasonal position. The volunteers assist the Snow School
Instructors to enhance the experience and fun for our young guests participating in snow school
programs. The volunteers will assist instructors with staging and group supervision. Professionalism and
safety is a must.
DUTIES
 Assist Snow School Instructors with keeping the class together, lift loading, and assist with
general duty of care with group lessons
 Participation in training clinics
 Act as a sales person for the sport and the hill
 Be an ambassador & promote the value of the sport
REQUIREMENTS
 Experienced skier or snowboarder at an intermediate level
 Requires standing/walking/bending/lifting/ carrying throughout shift
 Great customer service skills, verbal, written skills and enjoy working with children
 Ability to project a positive attitude in person
 Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
 Wear a sport specific helmet when at work
 Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
 High School diploma or working towards diploma
 Demonstrates a professional image at all times through appearance and uniform dress
 Successful completion of tests (WHMIS, online Safety Awareness Training, or other department
requirements)
