Alberto Nanclares is a colleteiro working just 2 hectares of vineyards
comprised of 8 tiny parcels around the town of Cambados. Alberto’s goal is to
produce classic and age-worthy Albariños that reflect the unique characteristics
of the grape and the Cambados terruño utilizing organic viticulture and little
intervention in the winery.

Cambados is a town located right on the Atlantic Ocean in the prime Val do
Salnes subzone of Rías Baixas. It is considered the original home of the Albariño
grape. The full Atlantic exposure gives Albariños with a uniquely brisk and saline
character, the kind of wines that pair effortlessly with the abundant fresh seafood
that the region is famous for.

Dandelion is Alberto Nanclares’s entry-level cuvee from multiple parcels of 30year-old average age Albariño vines.

Vinification: Wild yeast fermented in stainless steel vat; No Malo; Raised on
the lees for almost two years.

Character: Fresh, aromatic, citrus, very mineral; Light to medium-bodied,
concentrated, racy acidity, and a long saline finish
