AWARDS:
1ST -3RD Swords/Medals (#of athletes determines # of prizes) - This competition is an NAS Level
ONE event. The top 1 placing in each Open Division Class will qualify for the NAS National
Championships.
***WEIGHT CLASSES MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 ATHLETES OR THE WEIGHT CLASS
WILL BE COMBINE WITH THE NEXT HIGHEST CLASS***

By entering this contest I realize that a Strongman Contest of this nature is a dangerous sport
where serious injury and/or death may occur. In consideration of my entry, I hereby waive all

Event 1: Truck Pull
Men’s Open
- Kenworth Towing Semi, approx. 20,000lbs
Women’s and Men’s Subclasses - Ford Tow Truck, approx. 12,000lbs
Athlete will begin strapped into a harness, attached to the vehicle, with one hand on the starting line.
Athlete will use a tow rope and harness until the front of the vehicle breaks the finish line 60’ away. Time
limit will be 2 minutes.
Event 2: Keg Toss for Reps
Men’s Open
- 50lb regular size keg
Women’s and Men’s Subclasses - 25lb pony keg
60 seconds for as many completions as possible. Height will start at 10’ for women and men’s subclasses,
12’ for men’s open
Event 3: Axel Press Max Effort
Men’s Open
- 175lbs
Women’s and Men’s Subclasses - 125lbs
60 second time limit per attempt. Weight will increase by 10lbs per round. Hands can be on the axel to
start. Axel must be picked up into press position and pressed from standing position. Reps are counted
from standing position. Full lockout (Lockout will be: Elbows locked, feet even, hips in-line with
shoulders and ankles, knees locked) must be achieved for the rep to count and the athlete must wait for the
referees signal to lower the weight.

Belt, chalk, knee wraps or sleeves, wrist wraps, fore-arm sleeves
Event 4: 18’ Deadlift for Reps
Men’s Open

Men’s Novice - 400, 450, 500

The time starts at "GO". Start with hands gripping the axel. Full lockout (Lockout will be: Elbows locked,
feet even, hips in-line with shoulders and ankles, knees locked) must be achieved for the rep to count and
the athlete must wait for the referees signal to lower the weight.
Event 5: Atlas Stones onto platform (weights indicated are max stone weight per class)

One minute for as many successful completions as possible. The time starts at “GO”. Stone will be picked
up off the ground and placed onto platform. Competitor will have 4 stones of increasing weight (Approx
40lbs per stone). Platform height will be approximately: 48” for men, 40” for women
