Representatives started all over again on
steps to initiate the programme and get a
license from the Shire. At the opening of
the school term in 2016 the parish council
was informed that difficulties had arisen in
regard to the use of our hall and the
obtaining of a license. Subsequently the
Principal and School Board decided at their
March meeting that they did not wish to go
ahead with the proposed Out of School
Care for their parents.

It’s Off
In the first half of last year it had been
brought to the notice of parishioners that the
St. Pius School Principal approached the
parish about offering our hall for the use of
an Out of School Care programme for the
benefit of the parents. As our response to the
expressed need at our parish school, the
priest and parish council decided to give our
hall for the use of the programme, with some
remuneration being made to the parish. In
due course after a few meetings with the
MercyCare rep. to discuss the running of the
proposed project progress was made and
about 30 parents gave their names to join.
However the MercyCare representative was
slow over many months in obtaining the
license from the Shire to start off and he
eventually resigned his job at MercyCare. In
the fourth quarter of 2015 new MercyCare

The Lamb
on our
Symbol
(Taken from English Poet William Blake)
Little Lamb, who made thee
Does thou know who made thee
Gave thee life and bid thee feed
By the stream and o’er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing wooly bright;
Little Lamb who made thee
Does thou know who made thee?
Little Lamb I’ll tell thee,
Little Lamb I’ll tell thee;
He is called by thy name,
He is called Himself a Lamb:
He is meek and he is mild,
He became a little child.
Little Lamb God bless thee,
Little Lamb God bless thee!

Cry out with joy to God, all the earth; O sing
to the glory of his name. O render him
glorious praise, Alleluia.

Jesus said to his disciples: come and eat.
And he took bread and gave it to them,
