Mr CHAN Bing Woon has over 38 years of experience in the legal profession and has
been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Hong Kong (HK) and UK and an
Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is currently a
consultant of Yung Yu Yuen & Co., Solicitors and Notaries HK. Mr. Chan sits on a
number of Government boards and committees and currently he is a member of the
Hospital Authority.
Mr Chan is the founding member and advisor to the Joint Mediation Helpline Office.
He was member of Secretary for Justice’s Working Group on Mediation and the
Mediation Task Force. He is member of the Chief Justice’s Working Party on
Mediation, Chief Justice’s Civil Justice Reform Monitoring Committee. He is also
member of Secretary for Justice’s Steering Committee on Mediation, and he chairs its
Public Education and Publicity Sub-committee.
Mr Chan is an accredited Mediator of the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation
Association Limited, HK International Arbitration Centre, Hong Kong Mediation
Centre and an Accredited Mediator of the HK Law Society.
