Homework 1, Classwork 1 and Puppets

Lesson 1 Homework suggested schedule (send on SchoolNova web site HW):
Monday:
Watch Muzzy I French DVD Scenes 1-2 or from 0:00 to 3:58s on the Internet,
at the address:
http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMTE0NDY4OTg4.html
Look at the pictures of the MUZZY Scenes 1 - 2 (attached)
Tuesday:
Make the Muzzy puppets (attached) and play with them Muzzy scenes 1 & 2.
Wednesday: Open “Harry Learns French” CD Rom on your computer and click & listen on the
page 1 (airport), or read the book “Harry Learns French” at this page.
Thursday:
Play the hands game “Je m’appelle, je m‘appelle, je m‘appelle…” with your friends.
Friday:
Sing the song
As all of us do not have Muzzy I French CD, I will propose you some songs that your little angels
could listen to on Internet, in order to review their lesson.
To illustrate our first lesson here is a French version of Gummy Bear Song, "Je m'appelle..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oojxUFTg6co&feature=related
with lyrics:
Je m’appelle Gummy Bear,
Je m’appelle Gummy Bear,
Je m’appelle Funny, funny, funny
Funny, funny bear
J’ai un petit ventre mou
Et un slip kangourou
Je suis pas comme
Les autres doudous
Moi je suis un p’tit loup
Oh yeah
Funny, funny, funny, funny, funny bear
Bai ding ba doli party
Bamm bing ba doli party
Breding ba doli
party party pop
Please do not sing it in English with your little ones, just say them that the french lyrics mean ’My
name is Gummy bear…’ if they ask you about it (so that if they like the song, they sing it in French
and learn French by doing so ☺)
Anyway, please let them feel comfortable if they do not want to work their French at this particular
moment…
