As I Grew Older
19.Answer The above quote says that when a dream breaks into thousands of pieces,
you shouldn't lose hope. You need to take one piece and start again, no
matter how hard it may be.
In the poem the speaker has a dream, at some point he feels that his dream is
being blocked by a wall. This is where the speaker lies in the shadow because
he feels his dream is broken. The speaker doesn’t give up, he turns to his
hands for help and he breaks the wall.
The poem and quote talk about hard situations in life. They both face
difficulties and their dream is broken to pieces. However, both of them find
enough power to move on and start all over again, they dont give up on their
dreams.

The Road not Taken
21.Answer The quote says that when you choose a path, you leave one behind, that’s the life between “yes”
and “no”. The decision you finally make is big, it changes your life.
The poem talks about a man that stands in an important crossroad in his life. He needs to make
a big decision. It takes him all of time because its a meaningful decision that will change his life.
After he has decided he realizes that his decision “made all the difference”. The name of the
poem is “The Road not Taken”, which means that the speaker still thinks about the choice that he
didn't take.
The quote and the poem speak about how important is to think about the big decisions in our
lives. They both say that the decisions we make shape the way we are and the path we choose
to take.
