Thanks for the Shoes!
By Kelly Peaks
On behalf of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School's National Junior Honor Society and myself,
I would like to thank everyone for their generous donations of shoes and money to the
Soles4Souls charity. Overall, we collected over 150 pairs of shoes that have been shipped to
those in need throughout the U.S. Our church received special recognition from the principal
(Ms. Linda Cullinan) and in the school newsletter for our outstanding participation. If you are
interested in finding more information on the Soles4Souls charity, visit www.soles4souls.org.
Again I would like to thank everyone who participated in the shoe drive and look forward to
your eagerness to help others with future projects such as this. May God Bless you!
