The implementation of the Balanced Vision Plan for the Trinity River will literally change the way our city looks and feels. In addition to improving
transportation access and mobility and enhancing flood protection, the project will put back the river’s meanders, cultivate the area’s natural beauty,
provide easy access to the waterfront, and bring economic prosperity to the communities along the river’s banks.

Dallas is reclaiming its source – the Trinity River – and we need your
help to do it. The Trinity Trust Foundation is raising private funds that
will supplement the significant public funding already committed to The
Trinity. Notable individual landmarks are being created through this
major civic undertaking. These landmarks will address the most important
connections between Dallas, its residents, and its physical environment.
Providing opportunities for private support related to a donor’s special
interests, these landmarks include the art and design of the Calatrava
bridges, major water features and public art; the water-related activities
of the two lakes, the whitewater courses and boating facilities; the
natural environment of the Trinity River Audubon Center and nature
observation and interpretation features; sports and recreation of the
Texas Horse Park and ballfields; and urban design of the promenades,
overlooks, an amphitheater and a central island. All of these key
landmarks will be named to recognize the generous private contributors
to this immense and important undertaking. Please contact the Trinity
Trust Foundation for information on these gift opportunities.

Our vision is that 10 years from now people will come down to the lakes,
the island, and the wetlands, walk along the pedestrian walkways, and enjoy all the
amenities along the new Trinity River. And these landmarks will have names on
them. They will carry the names of the great people who have helped build this city.
