Instructions:

Write the following sentence on the board:

2.
Ask your students if they can think of another word that means bright.
For example: dazzling, sparkling, brilliant…
3.
Remind your students that synonyms are words that mean the same or almost the same.
4.
Give each student a copy of the handout.
5.
Students should match the synonyms and write sentences using the synonyms
6.
Share answers as a class.
