What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? Georgetown’s deep roots in Jesuit tradition and emphasis on social justice resonate with my core values, hopes, and aspirations. I chose Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business to help me pursue my talent and passion for business while also incorporating the essential practices of service and work for social justice. What are the best things about being a Hoya? The incredibly smart, funny, talented, and genuine people who you have the gift of interacting with daily. My friends, classmates, and professors make me feel lucky to be a Hoya every day. Why do you love D.C.? I love D.C. for its endless opportunities to explore, delicious food, and our beautiful Hilltop. Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? My First Year Seminar Case Competition was one of the educational highlights of my freshman year. My classmates introduced me to the power of group work when all team members bring their unique ideas together to effectively collaborate on a problem. What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? Keep an open mind. Georgetown will expose you to new people, opportunities, and experiences—embrace them all!
