FloorShield Flame Retardant (FR) is currently
the only breathable material on the market in this price
range. Manufactured from a spun-bonded Polypropylene
material that is fully accredited to LPS1207 and complies
with fire regulations associated with temporary protection
materials. Uses include temporary internal protection on
building sites, in factories, warehousing, showrooms,
offices and most domestic situations. Suggested uses
are for foot traffic on laminated flooring, screeded &
coated concrete, terrazzo and carpeted floors etc. Can
also be used for worktop protection, in offices to cover
computers, electrical appliances and office furniture.
Laying & Jointing FloorShield FR should be done
on flat clean surfaces and is best laid in the longest
runs possible for economy of use and ease of
application. See adhesive tape section for details on
jointing and securing this product to surfaces such as
laminate, screeded, coated concrete, terrazzo and
carpeted floors etc.

Carpet Protection Film is manufactured from a tough polythene film with a special low tack adhesive back and
is designed to protect carpets on a temporary basis without creating a trip hazard. Carpet Protection film can be safely
used on steps and stairs to avoid trip hazards unlike the traditional method of using dust sheets. Where smooth nosings
or carpet plates are used they should first be lined with Easi-Peel easy tear tape before covering over with carpet film.

Carpet Protector VCP1 is a heavy duty PVC
carpet runner that is ideal for medium to long term
protection on carpets in highly trafficked areas and
can be used in commercial settings with sustained
use of industrial footwear and will give long lasting
use. The carpet runner has a robust diamond
pattern on the underside to keep it in place but may
need additional fixing on some surfaces.

TwinShield is a twin wall polypropylene board that is
tough, durable, impact/chemical resistant, non-toxic,
waterproof and does not stain. Suitable for all round
protection. LPS1207 FLAME RETARDANT has been
developed due to the increased concern about the role of
combustible materials fuelling major fires. For this reason
we have developed a fully proven range of flame
retardant boards. TwinShield has met the very stringent
quality control standards of the LPCB. The LPCB logo,
registration number is printed on every sheet so that the
contractor can be certain that they are buying a fully
accredited product.
Simply and quickly cut, curved or creased, lightweight
and easy to position. See door protection pages 16 - 18
for details on other sizes.
A CAD design and cutting service is available for special sizes
if required, subject to quantity. We also produce special cut
shapes including a wide range of sanitary ware protection,
kitchen worktop protection, boxes and trays in flame retardant
and standard board, some products can be made up to 10mm

Rubber Matting
is ideal for semi-permanent
walkways or cushioned slip resistant standing areas.
Rubber matting can be easily cleaned and is unaffected
by temperature, providing insulation from cold concrete
floors, which can inhibit blood circulation in feet.
Ideal for muddy, wet or icy ground conditions. Circlemat can be laid end to end as a runner or in larger
areas, also suitable for building entrances, temporary
outdoor surfaces or permanent pathways.
Rib-mat is manufactured from hard wearing natural
rubber, has a slip-resistant ‘fluted’ surface and is ideal
for use around workbench areas to prevent fragile parts
from damage.
Combi-mat standard is an interwoven fire tested PVC
matting with open holes (22mm x 22mm) and is
designed to protect operators from fatigue caused by
prolonged standing. Fully reversible and resistant to
mild acids and alkalis.
Drain-mat is the only ‘drainable’ rubber runner available
and provides effective slip-resistance in wet conditions,
is hard wearing and fully reversible for long lasting wear.
Drain-mat is easy to roll up and move - ideal for
temporary bars, kitchens and walkways, where spillage
of water or drinks is common. It can be cleaned with
ease - hosed down or even pressure washed.
Circle-mat is a very tough, extra heavy duty rubber
matting. Open structure allows debris to be trapped.

them to be used under doors or when placed at the

in several grades which span a range of protection
applications from heavy duty site conditions through to
protection from dust, debris and liquid spills. All Flame
Retardant products comply with the National Building
Specification (NBS) JCT and GCW Preliminaries
clauses. Flame Retardant grades are manufactured and
certified under the Loss Prevention Certification Board
(LPCB) approved scheme. All the grades give a high
degree of slip resistance in accordance with COSHH,

Polymesh 150 is a clear reinforced non flame
retardant waterproof polythene sheet, slip and tear resistant
membrane. Manufactured by cast extrusion coated LDPE
onto woven monofilament yarns for extra strength making it
ideal floor protection for covering large areas, also suitable
for temporary glazing on site because of its durability it can

prior to use. Our designers spent some time researching the sanitary ware market and came up with a size that we think

Stairtread Protector is quick and easy to install, made from highly visible yellow self-extinguishing PVC. This
unique design provides a high degree of protective cover, anti-slip, impact and scuff resistance to either the

Door Cill Protectors can be quickly and easily installed to most types of external door cills and can be left in
place for the duration of the build without impeding the locking and security of the door. The door cill protector is

we have developed a number of methods of protecting vulnerable artstone and window
cills which are both practical and simple to use and can be reused many times making this a very cost effective
method. This protection does not need any mechanical fixings and gives a full cover protection with a high level of

Glass Protection Film is UV stable temporary
protection for glazed windows and doors. It gives temporary
protection from scratches, dust, paint and mortar spills.
When peeled off the result is a clean scratch free pane.
Can be used internally or externally for short periods.
Blackout Film is manufactured from black UV stable
low-density polyethylene film, coated with a low-tack solvent
acrylic adhesive used to temporarily block out light through
windows and provide privacy for site workers, enabling
them to carry out their work without distraction from the
general public. As the film is self-adhesive, it can be easily
applied without the need for fixing or taping. The film can be
stored for six months in dry conditions in its original
packaging. Do not expose materials protected with this film
to exterior conditions for more than three months.
