OUR REDEEMER NEWS
EASTER BREAKFAST—The men of OR will prepare and serve a
hot breakfast on Easter Morning to our fellow OR families and
guests. April 16th from 8 am until 11 am. We are looking for 40
men to serve in 2 hour shifts: Saturday afternoon for set up and
Sunday morning from 6 am until 12 pm. Junior and Senior high
school students, grandfathers, fathers, and sons are all appreciated. Please contact Gary Phillips (414.536-8432), Tom Balgeman (262.641-9998) or Greg Riederer (262.373-0091) if you can
help out. We are also accepting donations of colored, hard-boiled
eggs and bakery. Please let the above coordinators know or sign up
on the sign-up sheets at the Volunteer Ministry table. This is a great
way to serve OR and meet other OR men.
A PASSOVER SEDER Walk with us as we walk with Him toward
Easter. All are welcome and encouraged to celebrate this unique
learning and worship experience, a PASSOVER SEDER, Wednesday,
April 12 at 6:30 p.m. Jesus and His disciples ate this meal together as
the Last Supper, now our Maundy Thursday. This is not a complete
meal but a way to embrace how Passover reveals Christ. Please sign
up at the table in the narthex.
SUMMER MISSION TRIP TO KAZAKHSTAN
Pastor Steinke has been leading youth to Kazakhstan since 2010 to
participate in the ministry and mission of Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Almaty, Kazakhstan as they do outreach work with
youth and families. Those interested in participating this coming
summer may pick up a registration packet from the Welcome Desk.
The registration deadline is April 30. Pastor will hold an informational meeting to answer questions about the trip today following
the 11am service. There are opportunities to raise funds for the trip
through our Miller Park concessions project and OR's Mission Task
Force.
Mission Dates: A team from OR will leave on July 18 and join a group
from Concordia Lutheran High School, Tomball, TX in Frankfurt,
Germany. From there they will fly to Almaty. Another group can
leave with Pastor Steinke on July 23. Participants can come back
July 31 or August 4.
TOSA CARES FOOD PANTRY, helping 140+ families in our area who

detergents. Please bring those items to the receptacle under the
skylights at OR. We also are in need of helpers to bring those items
over to Mt. Zion at 122nd and North Avenue on Friday, April 28th,
