Upcoming Events

We have had another very busy half-term. We celebrated World Book Day on 2
March, the children looked wonderful in their costumes and I hope they are enjoying
their free books. Year 1 had an exciting morning with their Space Academy workshop
and Rhyme Rocket came in and had a very loud hour of fun with a group of our
children. Reception spent the day at All Things Wild on Tuesday and had a fantastic
time.

Thank you to all the parents who came to our online safety presentation, we hope
you found it useful. We look forward to welcoming Year 1 parents to our fruit skewer
workshop and Year 4 parents to the chocolate bonanza before half term.

Hot lunches
Please remember to return hot meal slips and payment by the Wednesday of the week
before your child would like their meal so we can order it from the caterers. We still need
a slip even if your child is entitled to Free School Meals.
Milk
Milk for the next half term is £4.32 (4 weeks and 4 days at 90p per week/18p per day).
Please put your payment in a named envelope to the office. Many thanks.
Congratulations to our choir who sang
beautifully at the Palace Theatre this
week. Thank you to all the parents who
supported them – we’re sure you were as
proud of them as we were!
New Uniform Ordering – please note last order dates
Your children should have brought home leaflets with information about how to order uniform online from our new suppliers,
please ask at the office if you haven’t received one. There is a link on our website on the uniform page which will take you to their
website which is http://www.mapac.com/education/parents. We have samples of sweatshirts and cardigans in the office if you
would like to try them for size. We will still keep a small stock of items in school in case you need something urgently and the
website may direct you to school for some items at first while we use up our existing stock. Items can be delivered to your home
(with a delivery charge) or to school for free. Last order date for delivery before we break up for summer is 30 th June and you will
need to order before 4th August to receive uniform before we return to school in September. Please remember to name your child’s
clothes.

Callum Cartlidge
We were very sorry to hear of Callum’s recent death. Callum was a student at Matchborough First School Academy. If you would like
