Senior Spotlight—Chelsea Chisman
Chelsea Chisman is the daughter of Jill Parr. After high school, Chelsea
plans on going to Wright State University to major in Oncology. Chelsea’s
favorite teacher at Whiteoak is Ms. Whited because she is very nice and
helpful. Chelsea’s favorite memory at Whiteoak was when someone
grabbed Megan’s baked potato at lunch and threw it down the table. Chelsea doesn’t know what her least favorite memory is.

Senior Spotlight—Logan Aliff
This week’s Senior Spotlight is Logan Aliff. His parents are Tony and
Leah Aliff. After high school, he plans on getting a job in the Labor union. Logan's favorite teacher is Mr. Arledge because he likes the way he
teaches and the way he acts. His worst memory is wrecking his four
wheeler, and his best memory is going to Colorado with his family. Logan says, “don't do drugs, stay in school, and work hard for what you
want in life. Never give up and no matter what anybody tells you, never
give up on your dreams.”

Apple News—

Apple’s newest New York City retail store opened its doors August 16. It is an ultra-modern visual
spectacle. The store is located on two levels of the World Trade Center Transportation hub—inside
the “Oculus” shopping area. This is Apple’s seventh Manhattan location, its tenth across the state of
New York and 485th globally, The interior of the shop looks about the same as most other Apple
stores, but also features a huge video wall complete with a sitting area called the “Forum”, where
people can tinker around with their new products and learn how to use them. So if you’re ever in New
York, I recommend checking it out.

Dear Destiny...
Why is his name Donkey Kong
when he isn't even a donkey?
~Anonymous~
Answer- The legend has it that
the Japanese fellow who developed the game had made a mistake when translating the Japanese for “Monkey Kong” into
English. By the time the error
was discovered, it was too late.
Millions of labels had already
been printed.
