In addition, you must be available to serve this position for the entire 2015-2016 Academic
Year. Also, students MAY NOT have an internship while holding a position leadership position
at Student Media Advertising.

You will be contacted by the Executive Director, should we feel that your background meets our
current needs. The interview will be 25 minutes long.
This has to be your #1 priority. For this position you are required to start Monday, August
17th, 2015 for two weeks of training. If you will not be able to attend this, please do not apply.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Responsible for the entire stability and revenue derived from the company’s existing clients.
Implementing new ideas, training techniques and system to support the growth of the
Account Executives.
Extensive knowledge of selling advertisements.
Hire, train and manage Account Executives to maximize revenue potential.
Supervise a team of 5 Account Executives.
Identify sales leads, targets and prospects.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure the Account Executives are exceeding goals.
Motivate, recognize and reward outstanding performance both on individual and team basis.
Review performance of Account Executives and suggest needed improvements and
corrective actions.
Build and maintain a work environment within the team characterized by high expectations
and aggressive sales goals.
Maintain high energy level within the team through communications.
Continually monitor client businesses and address any issues.
Meet the sales goal established by the university at the end of the year.
Strategic and disciplined thinking.
Bi-weekly reports on Account Executives commissions and payroll.
Weekly Sales Reports to the Executive Director.
Weekly meetings with the Account Executives.
Exceptional business skills and salesmanship required.
