2016-2017 Student Supply List

2016-2017 Supply Lists
Which Calculator Do I Buy?
Every student should have a calculator. The prices shown are estimates so
please take that into consideration when choosing which device is best for your
child. A four function calculator ($1.00) would get a student through sixth grade
math.
A scientific calculator ($10.00) is the standard for grade 7 and 8 (depending
on the course). It also will give a sixth grader some additional “math power” but
not required for sixth grade.
A TI-84Graphing Calculator ($95) is required for students entering Algebra
and Geometry. This calculator will last your child through high school and into
college.
Please Note - Graphing calculators are not “taught” until Algebra and are
not allowed in sixth grade math.
