community works
Input provides training & education and a point of contact in the use of
IT to the wider community by means of our trainees. Our refurbished
computers are made available to the community with the latest free
software. This would be backed up with appropriate training in the use
of the computer and the software installed. Through these ventures this
opens up opportunities for locals to volunteer in support of the charity,
it’s trainees and the community, offering them experience and
qualifications in the field. We work with local business to identify their
needs and secure opportunities for our trainees and volunteers. As a
community resource we rely heavily upon the community giving to us
whether that is through volunteers’ time, business’ input or resource
and financial involvement.
