MONTHLY INTERACTIVE & PRINTABLE Wedding Day by Shelly Hazard October, 2004 Print ‘n’ Play Text and Table of Results Jack and Cindy just got married! On their wedding day, they had four bridesmaids and four ushers in the wedding party. Instead being traditional and choosing a single color for their attire, the happy couple chose five different colors. Each bridesmaid wore a different color dress and each usher’s tuxedo had a cumberbund and bowtie that matched one of the bridesmaids’ dresses. They even had matching bouquets and boutonnières. Determine the full name of each usher and bridesmaid (the last name of each bridesmaid begins with the letter P), and what color each wore. 1. The color of Toby’s attire did not match Anne’s dress. Sandy didn’t wear purple. Sam O’Neill didn’t wear green. Mark’s last name wasn’t Clark. 2. Brenda was part of the green couple. Ms. Purse didn’t wear blue. The woman who wore red didn’t have Price for a last name. 3. Toby’s last name wasn’t Clark, but he did wear purple. Mr. Right’s color matched Ms. Park’s dress. Daniel didn’t match Anne. 4. Sandy’s last name was Peters. Melody’s dress matched Mr. Maguire’s attire. 5. Daniel didn’t wear green. 6. Anne wore red.
