• This degree will prepare students in the field of cosmetology by exceeding the standards set by the state of South
Carolina and providing individualized instruction and focused training in technical, business, communication, and service
skills. The business component of this degree delivers an emphasis on entrepreneurship and salon management.
• A grade of “C” or higher in all courses is required.
• Must pass the South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology to work as a cosmetologist.
