What is the fastest mammal on Earth? What animal
chirps instead of roars? The cheetah! The cheetah is
well known for how fast it can run.
Diet/How they catch their prey
Cheetahs eat what they can catch. Like gazelles,
impalas, wildebeest, and small hoofed prey. Cheetahs
catch their prey by stalking it. First, the cheetah
will blend in with the tall grass. Next, the cheetah
will run up to 70 miles per hour. Last, when the
cheetah got their prey, it will take it to her cubs, or
eat by itself.
Population
Cheetahs are endangered because farmers are killing
them. Farmers are killing cheetahs because cheetahs are
eating their livestock. The population now is 900012000.
Where Cheetahs Live
Cheetahs live in grasslands. Also Namibia, and the
Serengeti. Southern parts of Africa is where cheetahs
call home. Cheetahs used to live in India, and Asia.
