Solution Overview Sequence of Operation Design Considerations Design Solution Description • SPACE: Two-stall restroom, one entrance into room, exhaust fan in both the men’s and women’s restroom. • LIGHTING: Recessed lighting. • CONTROLS: Automatic-on control of lighting and exhaust fan based on occupancy. Automatic-off control of lighting and exhaust fan based on occupancy. • CONTROLS SET-UP: Digital Lighting Management control system for automatic configuration, simplified installation and setup and reduced installation costs. Diagrams Equipment Schedule Restroom - Separate Exhaust Fan Solution Overview Sequence of Operation Design Considerations Diagrams Equipment Schedule Default Sequence of Operation - Plug n’ Go Men’s and Women’s Restroom Room Summary – Automatic-on: Load A and B | Automatic-off: all loads • The system automatically configures upon power up to out-of-box functionality based upon the devices connected to the local room network. This is referred to as Plug n’ Go functionality. The default operation of the room is as follows: Load A - automatically turned on by the LMUC-100-2 - automatically turned off by the LMUC-100-2 once the room is vacated and the sensor’s time delay expires Load B - automatically turned on by the LMUC-100-2 - automatically turned off by the LMUC-100-2 once the room is vacated and the sensor’s time delay expires Note: Do not connect men’s and women’s restrooms together. Each restroom should function as a standalone room. Options for Customizing Sequence of Operation (Push n’ Learn) • To enhance or customize system operation for space- or project- specific needs, adjust sequence of operation using Push n’ Learn either via the LMCT-100, or LCD screen (occupancy sensor). For more detailed information on Push n’ Learn refer to the DLM system Installation Guide. Restroom - Separate Exhaust Fan Solution Overview Sequence of Operation Design Considerations Diagrams Equipment Schedule Design Considerations • The LMCT-100 (Digital Wireless Configuration Tool) is highly recommended to provide the facility manager/building operator convenient means for future system adjustments. • Digital ultrasonic occupancy sensor automatically turns lighting off when the room is vacant and after the time delay elapses. The default setting is 20 minutes, with a maximum time delay of 30 minutes. • It is recommended to place ultrasonic sensors at least 6 ft away from air supply vents (e.g. exhaust fan) Restroom - Separate Exhaust Fan Solution Overview Sequence of Operation Design Considerations Connection Diagram LMUC-100 Ceiling Mount Sensor LMRC-102 Room Controller Diagrams Equipment Schedule Wiring Diagram Line Voltage Load A Neutral Wht Unswitched Hot Blk Load B Red Lighting Load (A) Yel Exhaust Fan Load (B) 120/277 J-Box LMRC-102 Room Controller LMUC-100 Ceiling Mount Sensor LMRC-102 Room Controller Line Voltage Load A LMRJ Series Pre-Terminated Cables or CAT5e.
