I have to share another small world Milo Library story. Today I was at a craft sale here in the park (Thousand Palms, California) and met the daughter of a woman I know from the park. We rented beside them years ago before we bought. Anyhow, I asked where she lived (Airdrie) and told her I lived southeast of Calgary in a little town she wouldn't have heard of, Milo. She said, I know Milo, I have been to Milo. She used to work for Endev and of course Endev gave a donation to the Milo Library and she went out to Milo to deliver the cheque or something to do with the donation. She said Endev was no more so I asked if she still worked in Oil and Gas and she said yes now she works for Crescent Point so I asked if she knows Linda Wells and she does. Her name is Laurie Robertson. I told her she must come back to Milo to see the beautiful library that the donation helped to build. (Endev Energy’s president Cam McGillvery gave us $80,000.00 for building the Library, hence the “Endev Reading Room” upstairs and the “Endev Meeting Room” downstairs.) That is the second person I have met in six months that knows Milo because of the library. Milo Library helps put Milo on the map. Tracy (Mozill) W I N T E R H O U R S ! DONATIONS We want to thank the following people for their donations to our Library this month: Helen Shield, Willy Pedersen, Dick and Joanne Madden . We apologize to anyone who we may have missed.
