PREPARATION OF THE SURFACES AND OF THE COLOURS
•
Suitable surfaces
All the plaster, gesso, stucco primers and all the flat and smooth surfaces are suitable.
•
Preparation of the surfaces
After a thorough cleaning and plastering of the surfaces, apply a coat of FASHION FIX diluted 1:3 with water by a brush.
If the surfaces are particularly chalked it is advisable to apply first a coat of FASHION FIX diluted 1:6 with water.
Apply the diluted product with brush, in a single coat, until complete impregnation of the surface.
•
Application of FINE FASHION PRIMER
After having adequately prepared the surfaces, apply FINE FASHION PRIMER in one or two coats with a short hair roller
(item 490.20); in case of particularly absorbent walls, apply first a coat of FINE FASHION PRIMER diluted to 30-40% with
water.
•
Application of GRACE DIAMOND – GRACE PEARL
GRACE is ready for use and shall be applied in a single coat. After having accurately prepared the surface as indicated in
the data sheet, apply the product following one of the recommended techniques, in order to obtain various decorative
effects.
The product is easy to apply and its spreading and application do not create problems of junctions on the walls.
•
PREPARATION of COLOURS
In order to obtain the colours of the catalogue, simply add the 750 ml - 250 ml - 50 ml FASHION COLOUR in the relative
bases of GRACE and mix manually.
Different doses from those mentioned create different tints from those showed in the catalogue.
LINEN EFFECT
Dip the appropriate brush (item 955.7 - 955.10) into GRACE and apply a coat with cross brush strokes giving a spatulated
effect on the surface prepared with FINE FASHION PRIMER, avoiding clear squaring; carry on with the decoration until the
brush gets unloaded, so as to have no neat overlaps of colour. In order to obtain a more nuanced effect and make the
distribution of the product more homogeneous, go over the treated surface once again using the unloaded brush.
The amount of material used, the size, shape and intensity of brush strokes determine the tailored decorative effect.
Theoretical yield: 10-12 square meters/litre.

CASHMERE EFFECT
Dip the appropriate brush (item 955.7 - 955.10) into GRACE and apply a coat with cross brush strokes giving a spatulated
effect on the surface prepared with FINE FASHION PRIMER, avoiding clear squaring; work on a surface of about 2-3 square
meters and carry on with the decoration until the brush gets unloaded, so as to have no net overlaps of colour and to obtain a
homogeneous distribution of the product. After about 5-10 minutes, go over the treated surface with an unloaded double blade
spatula ( item 368), with cross and irregular movements. The amount of material used, the size, shape and intensity of brush
strokes determine the tailored decorative effect.
Theoretical yield: 8 – 10 square meters/litre.
COTTON EFFECT
Dip the appropriate brush (item 955.7 - 955.10) into GRACE and apply a coat on a surface of about 2-3 square meters
prepared with FINE FASHION PRIMER; the applicative technique consists in working the product with oblique and irregular
brush strokes, alternating bands with the application of the colour to others temporarily leaved without product; after about 510 minutes, go over the treated surface once again with unloaded brush and with irregular movements, smoothing the already
decorated part and softening it towards the contiguous area which is without product. In order to obtain a more nuanced effect,
make the distribution of the product more homogeneous and eliminate any line left by the brush, go over the treated surface
with unloaded tool. The amount of material used, the size, shape and intensity of brush strokes determine the tailored
decorative effect.
Theoretical yield: 12 – 14 square meters/litre.
SILK EFFECT
Using a double blade spatula ( item 368), apply with cross strokes a first coat of GRACE on the surface prepared with FINE
FASHION PRIMER: cover about 2-3 square meters; before it is completely dry, smooth the product with unloaded tool to
eliminate any imperfections or excesses of material due to the smoothing. When the first coat is completely dry, after about 4-6
hours, spread a second thin coat with the same modalities: also in this case eliminate any imperfections with unloaded tool.
The amount of material used, the size, shape and intensity of spatula strokes determine the tailored decorative effect.
Theoretical yield (referred to two coats): 6-8 square meters/litre.
