SOCIAL WORK PAVES the WAY FOR CHANGE!
On behalf of the NASW MS Chapter, I invite you to join us in
celebrating National Social Work Month at the Golden Nugget
Biloxi, Biloxi, MS. The National Association of Social Workers
(NASW) will begin an eight-month celebration of its 60th
anniversary which will end in October, the month NASW was
founded in 1955. We return to the MS Gulf Coast to also begin
commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina that
devastated the MS, LA, & AL states and their citizens in August
2005. NASW and the social work profession have been involved
in paving the way for positive changes in society and for
individuals for the past six decades. Come help us celebrate our
profession’s contributions to positive social change and to
resiliency following Hurricane Katrina.
