and transport - environmental influences like rain, snow,
spray and fluctuating temperatures, UV radiation, pests or
contamination with foreign bodies.
Protective measures are generally required to ensure that no
damage is sustained during transport and storage.
Moisture, contaminants or insects can cause major damage to goods stored even inside buildings or in transport
containers, which in turn reduces their value or renders the
entire shipment unusable.
There are a number of options available, each of which has

The Puma-Folien® developed by W.Bosch+Co. are part of
the range of sealable composite foils. They are used for
the safe and effective protection of large metal machines,
workpieces and tools, as well as bulk cargo from environmental influences, pollutants, contamination and corrosion.

Puma-Folien supplied by W.Bosch+Co offer a broad variety
of protection for customers. Puma-Folien® can be used in
many different industries - metal industry and food manufacturing, for military purposes and in the electronics industry.

Puma-Folien® are the optimum solution for long-term packaging, transport and export packaging (in particular for overseas shipments) for machinery and spare parts, bulk material
and powders, as well as for multicomponent material made
of metal, plastics and rubber. The period of protection can be
extended in individual cases by the subsequent addition of
desiccant.

Puma-Folien® developed by W.Bosch+Co. are available in
a variety of thicknesses and compositions, e.g. laminated
with LDPE film, HDPE film, scrim, as a transparent special
compound with special sealable layer or with VCI agents.
The packaging type can be selected for the intended use as flat film on reels of widths of up to 1750 mm, in sheets
or other formats, as sealed cut-outs up to 4000 mm, folded
on reels, as tubular or semi-tubular films, as flat pouches, as
crate covers or crate inlays, as side fold bags or covers, in
individual formats and, of course, printed or plain.

We had a typical start: production at home in the garage. In
1937 Walter Bosch founded the Walter Bosch & Co. manufacturing company to produce waxed paper and grew the
company systematically. New ideas increased the company's success. The company moved out of the garage into
a small production space, and in 1966 it moved again into
its current 8500 m² premises where it now provides secure
employment for a workforce of around 60.
Some eight decades and a host of innovations later, the
company is now renowned for producing a range of products that are in global demand.

firm develop into one of the world's leading producers of

include laminating, extrusion coating, impregnation and
creping. We are also one of the few companies in the world
that can laminate solvent-free up to a width of 1750 mm.
