MagGran®
Granulated Magnesium and
Calcium compounds
When we talk about health and activity today, food supplement and pharmaceutical products containing Magnesium and Calcium are highly recommended nutraceuticals. To be most effective it
is important to operate with products of a good processability and, of course, of highest quality.
Our MagGran® granulates are compacted mineral salt agglomerates. They are produced either by
dry compression or by enrichment with additives such as maize starch, maltodextrin or PVP. All
products comply with the international pharmacopoeias. The advantages are quite obvious: The
use of MagGran® will save time and lower manufacturing costs due to the optimised production
flow and the increased processing speed.
Further granulates and qualities are available upon request.

Our history
The roots: Magnesia has its origin in the Saline of Lüneburg. Being documentary mentioned for the first time in 956, the saline produced table salts until
the end of 1980. At the beginning of the 20th century the "Saline Lüneburg
und Chemische Fabrik GmbH" started with the production of Magnesium and
Calcium compounds.
The beginning: Magnesia GmbH was founded as successor of the Saline
Lüneburg. The medium-sized company, being based in Lüneburg, focused on
business in Magnesium, Calcium and further mineral based compounds. Continuously, the product portfolio has been enlarged.
Until today: In recent years, Magnesia evolved into an innovative and successful globally established distribution company. In 2010, the Magnesia AG
was founded with headquarters in Münchenstein, Switzerland. Since 2010,
the magnesia group is growing steadily in Europe to expand its strong market
position further.
