“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of
prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For
My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7
For January instead of asking you to join us in praying for a specific ministry each week, we present a synopsis of
what was going on with the ministries in 2016. There has been changes in which ministries we support this last year.
Pray that the ones we no longer support will continue to seek God's will. Pray that the ministries we support will be
blessed by God: spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally. Pray that the pastors and elders will be given
wisdom in administering God's money.
Christian Islamic Dialogue: Daniel Ted is from the Middle East and had to leave due to threats to his life.
He ministers to Muslims in Maricopa County and has outreaches across the US and other countries. He also trains
people on how to talk to Muslims in a non-argumentative way. The need for this is great as the cultural impact of
Islam increases. Pray that the seeds that were sown on the outreaches will grow. Pray for finances. Pray for more
workers to help coordinate the activities and to stay in contact with those they have witnessed to. Pray for Daniel's
back and neck problems, and his families health issues. Pray for the spiritual battle they face. Pray for new converts
who are rejected by their families and even the church due to their background.
Christian Satellite
Network: Christian
radio 91.7 FM. They have
Calvary Chapel pastors and
music.
Bible teaching including
contemporary Christian
El Refugio: They have ministered to orphans, the disabled and impoverished of Peru for 15 years. Doris is the
administrator. She is from Switzerland. Most of the workers are from Switzerland or Germany. There are multiple
homes in this organization. Magdalena is a home that houses older children. They are taught English, Spanish and
German. Pachacutec takes in infants to care for long term. This way they can experience stability. They have started

a Christian school there that the community uses also. Another program at this home is teaching single mothers and
impoverished fathers how to make a living. Recently a home was opened for babies that have been abandoned. Florina is
in charge of this home. The government calls them often to take in these children. The legal process to do this is costly
and complicated. There is also room for workers to stay and classrooms. Cieneguilla is a retreat in a beautiful area for
the broken hearted and weary ministry workers. The home for babies will move here eventually. They have horse therapy
for those who are traumatized. They would like to acquire the land next to this to expand this retreat. It has a pool, garden
and horse stables. House of Mercy is a home for children with disabilities. They are able to receive therapy, medicine and
medical care is nearby. The families are taught how to care for their loved ones. A couple from Switzerland runs this
program while living in an RV on the property. There is also a program that offers monthly meetings for mothers. They
provide workshops with lawyers, psychologists, and other professionals that the mothers cannot afford. They also teach
that Jesus is the only lasting change in their broken lives.
For Zion's Sake: They minister to new immigrants and Israeli's in need through a distribution center in Jerusalem.
They also care for holocaust survivors, terror victims, and wounded soldiers as well as send aid to areas around the
world affected by natural disaster and violence. Friday nights they have Shabbat service. There is a prayer service
Tuesday evenings. Pray for their safety, there has been terrorist attacks near their center. And pray they will be able to
share the love of Jesus while assisting with the material needs of many. Also pray for finances to cover the port fees on
the containers of clothing donated from around the world.

Mercy Projects: Anatoliy Perepelitsa: Anatoliy is a pastor in The Ukraine. He runs an orphanage. There are many
impoverished and abandoned children. Those who reach adulthood with nowhere to go continue to live with him. He has
a prison ministry. Many have been baptized this year. Some live with Anatoliy after they are
released. He also gives humanitarian aid to refugees from the East where the war continues. He also
helps large families with children. His son ministers to the deaf and now there is a church for them.
Anatoliy is also involved in church planting and radio ministry. Pray for Anatoliy's health and that
someone will step up to take over his ministry someday.
Mercy Projects: Olexander Onofriychuk: He is an impoverished child in the Ukraine. His
father is handicapped with heart problems and his mother takes care of their very large family. They
live in a three bedroom house. The family does attend church and Olexander attends youth services.
They are praying for a brass band for his church. His favorite subject in school is PE. He wants to
be a builder when he grows up.
New Beginnings Pregnancy And Parenting Center: They are a pro-life, non-profit organization run by
volunteers who provide unconditional acceptance and assistance to women and families experiencing planned and
unplanned pregnancies. They offer compassionate, fact based responses to questions on but not limited to: abortion, birth
control, sexually transmitted diseases, fetal development, parenting, adoption, life skills, and sexual integrity. They are
currently open two days a week. Their desire is to be open five days. They need volunteers to counsel clients, clean the
office, run the thrift shop and run the office. From January 1, 2016 to November 1, 2016 they had 161 clients participate
in programs, 29 of those are doing Bible studies, 730 individual education appointments were completed, 58 free
pregnancy tests were provided (46 were positive), 3 people accepted Jesus with their counselor, 47 Bibles were given out
for free, 1781 homework assignments were completed, 8066 diapers were purchased with Parenting Points, 16 babies
were born to our clients, 391 Parenting Points were used in their on-site store. Please pray for more volunteers and for
the families who enter their doors in 2017.
NEW BEGINNINGS
Paul and Wendy Tilman:
They serve in Northern Iraq where there are many challenges. Due to the war that has
lasted more than five years, the country experiences extreme shortages of water, fuel, gasoline, and now food. There are
many traumatized by the war and displacement. Add to that the Tilman's must cope with misunderstandings of their
beliefs and actions. Paul and Wendy are able to retain residency due to being in country as an agency that brings
humanitarian aid. This also helps open the doors to having conversations about Jesus. They bring food and hygiene items
to refugees in camps as well as tend to their emotional needs. They also help provide diesel fuel for generators for the
Syrian Refugee camp high school and hospital. They have also started an Aquaponic System project that supplies food
with very little water. They have started a cultural center in the refugee camp where young men play ping pong, older
men play board games and now ladies are meeting and learning to knit. There is also English lessons. This is in high
demand because those who speak English have an advantage in the suppressed job market. Then the door is open to have
a conversation about the Gospel. There is also a home fellowship that they want to develop. There are 12 men who
attend although not all at the same time. Two of the men are beginning to take on leadership roles. Pray God will

continue to strengthen them and that new converts will not allow the cares of the world to
take them out. They have rented a guest house next to them
to house volunteers and as a safe house. This has been
needed since the workload is so great and but there was no
place to house the extra help. Right now their son has
moved back to Iraq. He is a great help since he knows the
language. They also do some emergency medical care
training. Pray for a new car. Pray they will attain tax
exempt status in the US. Pray for people to donate so they
can meet more material needs. Pray for safety and that
governmental red tape will go smoothly.
Payson Christian Clinic: This clinic is a non-profit medical clinic with a mission to share love of Christ through
providing whole-person healthcare to the medically underserved, train professionals in providing whole person care, and
network with the local medical community, churches, civic organizations and governmental agencies. They have had an
increase in funds but cannot expand their hours due to a lack of professional and office staff. Please pray for more
volunteers.
Skatepark's Unfolding:
They go to the Skatepark at Rumsey Park every Thursday to minster to the youth of
Payson. They share the love of Christ, feed them and form relationships. September 24 th was the 10th annual Day of
Reckoning at the Skatepark. It is their big annual competition. Brian Sumner was the special speaker. He was able to
share how money and fame as a professional skate boarder did not bring happiness. Only Jesus was able to save him and
his marriage. Many T-shirts and prizes were given out. Nine young men made a profession of faith that day. The
Thanksgiving holiday did not hinder the volunteers from showing up for the weekly gathering this November. A beautiful
feast was set out and even in the cold a significant group of youth and homeless showed up to share the meal. The
Skatepark Unfolding Ministry is planning on hosting a mid Winter "GAME of SKATE" on Saturday January 21st. There
will be prizes. Pray for this event blesses many.

The Hope House:
Their mission is to serve the poor, homeless, and underserved in our community. Their strategic
Objective is that Hope House be operating and self-supporting through its own contributions; Hope Center to be fully
operating in 1st Quarter of 2017-some services are already being performed to serve the poor, homeless and underserved,
including: food, clothing and emergency and temporary shelter. Hope Cove to be started in 2 nd quarter of 2017-strategic
partnerships are being established currently. A brief update: The Hope House opened on August 15,
2016 after our

community by filling the gaps of services by organizations. We have three phases: Phase 1 the Hope House which is
operating. Phase 2: the Hope Center an additional transitional living facility that will serve further the needs of the poor,
homeless and underserved by providing a safe place to take showers, wash clothing, receive food, clothing, and spiritual
direction. Phase 3 is what we call the Hope Cove: low income housing to provide permanent housing for those leaving
transitional housing and seeking to re-enter society. Our first residents came to Hope House the first week of September
2016. We have been adding residents each month. We have both women and men and recently a child has visited for the
Christmas holidays. Beginning next year, we plan to modify Hope House as transitional living for women and the Hope
Center will be transitional living for men in addition to the other needs served for the poor homeless and the underserved
in our community. As soon as the additional funds needed for the Hope Center are received, approximately $60,000 (we
currently have 25% of the funds) we will have the manufactured home delivered to us in approximately 5 to 7 weeks
from that time. The residence has already been designed with specifications specifically to provide the additional services
to the homeless and poor in our community. The Hope Cove low income housing is in the formation stages with
discussions with other community organizations and individuals to partner with us to complete such an undertaking.
Again we thank all for supporting the Hope House and your generous donations. Please continue to pray for Hope House
and the forthcoming Hope Center (a transitional and emergency residence) and the Hope Cove (low income housing) and
all the homeless, poor and underserved who are being served. On behalf of the residents and future residents of the Hope
House we ask God to continue to Bless you.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger
and you invited me in.” Matthew 25:31
U-Turn for Christ AZ: This is a discipleship home for men in Payson, AZ. The first 2 months the men stay close
to the group to be discipled and prayed for while working with the group doing yard work and other jobs. The second
phase the men work in the community where they use what they have learned to manage more independence. Pastor
Jimmy is the pastor of U-Turn in Payson and Andrew and Adrian are his overseers. This last July Andrew was ordained
as a pastor at U-Turn headquarters in California. In 2016 20 men graduated from first phase and 8 men graduated from
second phase. Pray that the leadership will seek God's will and be a conduit for God's love. Pray for those that God
would have enter the program to be willing and for the men currently in U-Turn to be able to fulfill their commitment.
