Literacy Communication and Language Children will

Welcome back, we hope you have had a restful break.
This term we will be looking at ‘People who help us’. To start our topic we will be asking the big
question ‘Who helps us and how?’ and the children will be thinking of questions that they would
like to ask different professionals. Please talk to your child about the jobs that you and other
members of your family do. If you or a member of your family does a job that you would like to
talk to the children about please contact your class teacher. We would love to hear from you!
Our topic outcome will be on Tuesday 23rd May and we will be holding a Careers
Fair which the children will be sharing with Year 5. On this day we will be asking
the children to come to school dressed as what they would like to be when they
grow up.
We will also be having a visit from our local PCSO on 25th April to talk to the
children about their job as our Sparkly Starter.
Please keep Reading Books and Key Words in your child’s book bags EVERY DAY.
We have a number of parent helpers available to read with your child and this
can only be done if we have their things! Many thanks, The Reception Team.
