MM079-006 – MacroVIEW DM – Operator Manual Please notice that MacroVIEW DM auto-sizing tool is strictly related to the calibration done by the operator and not controlled by the software of the unit. For this reason, sample measurements obtained with MacroVIEW DM auto-sizing tool are NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS DIAGNOSTIC values. It is therefore necessary to carry out such measurements by either positioning a ruler by the sample (see picture below) or using a caliper to obtain a diagnostic value of the tumor growth, lesion extension etc… Before measurement with MacroVIEW DM system, please make the calibration of the system (see Image measure calibration). If the calibration is not properly performed and if the measurement control using a secondary measurement tool (like ruler, caliper) is not carried out, the sample measurements obtained with MacroVIEW DM auto-sizing tools are NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS DIAGNOSTIC values. 11 Milestone s.r.l. MM079-006 – MacroVIEW DM – Operator Manual 2.2. MacroVIEW DM INSTALLATION Installation is illustrated in this section. We recommend reading carefully the following paragraphs before operating with MacroVIEW DM. 2.2.1. Macroview DM dimensions The MacroVIEW DM dimensions are shown in the pictures below: 1400mm 1500mm 2200mm The cart Length: 610mm The cart Width: 620mm The maximum extension of the arm is 1400mm 620 mm 610mm The maximum extension of the pole support arm is 2200mm from the ground. The minimum extension of the pole support arm is 1500mm from the ground. The monitor mount permits a vertical tilt of ±15° and horizontal rotation of ±20°. 12 Milestone s.r.l. MM079-006 – MacroVIEW DM – Operator Manual During the shipment, MacroVIEW DM pole support of the swivel arm is completely lowered. Unscrew the black handle and by hand raise-up to adjust the height of the pole support according to user’s requirements. 2.2.2. Installing the fuse and the battery The cart’s fuse is not inserted for shipment. The fuse is enclosed for delivery and needs to be attached in the lower part of the cart as mentioned below, before you can use the cart. Insert the fuse here When you will receive the unit, It is required to leave the battery charging for at least 12 hours, before starting operating with the unit. When you connect the cart to the power, verify that the led “Power” is ON (green color), as shown below. If not press the ON/OFF button (fast click) of the cart showed by the arrow below. The cart battery loading is displayed by 3 blu leds showed above that switch on one after the other continuously. Please refer to the chapter 3.6 to have more information about the panel of the cart. MM079-006 – MacroVIEW DM – Operator Manual 2.2.6. Installation and connection of the wired full total body camera (optional) TO MOBILE PC POWER SUPPLY The hospital technicians have to predispose the power supply for the wireless total body over the ceiling (the electric scheme is in the following draw). It is required for safety, that the wired camera is switched ON/OFF trough a main stitch to be provided in the building of the forensic room. CEILING SOCKET WALL SOCKET The Miniature circuit breaker also can be a 16A-curve C, in any case: interrupt capability equal or more than 4500A. The PC-panel must be shut down before turn off the Main switch. In order to prevent malfunction for Windows operating system Milestone suggest: To turn on: 1. 2. 3. 4. Turn ON the PC-Panel mobile turn ON the manipulator turn ON the wired camera (if present), start the MacroVIEW-DM software To turn off: 1. 2. 3. 4. close the application MacroVIEW-DM turn OFF the manipulator turn OFF the wired camera (if present), shutdown the PC 16 Milestone s.r.l. MM079-006 – MacroVIEW DM – Operator Manual This instrument is universal power supply: 100–240V~ 50/60Hz. The total body camera is fixed at the ceiling and permit to capture images with a different point of view, to have the complete image of the body lied on the table. So it is possible take complete pictures and videos of the patients. The distance from the total body to the patient must be in way that permits to take the pictures and videos of all the patient body. The proper distance for the image capturing is according the following image. h WxL The capturing area is related to the distance from the autopsy table. The approximately: Zoom 0% 100% Area Width W≈¾h W ≈ 0.01 h Lenght L≈h L ≈ 0.0075 h 17 Milestone s.r.l.
