Pigs
It is parents evening on Wednesday
We will be learning all about the story of
16th and Thursday 17th November in
The Three Little Pigs. In literacy we will
be retelling the story of The Three Little
Pigs using actions, masks and puppets. We
will also be learning how to write words
from the story using our phonic
knowledge.

We will need lots of junk modelling
In Maths we will be looking at numbers 120 and learning how to put these in the
correct order.

Home Challenge
This week’s home challenge is for your
child to be able to write their name
independently, starting with a capital
letter and the remaining letters in lower
case. If your child can already write their
name, can they write CVC words? Try
writing dog, cat, bus, pig.
When your child has completed the
challenge, please complete a ‘wow’ star on
the back of this sheet to tell us how they
have got on.

How you can help at home
 Keep practising with your child daily
their sounds and key words. Can they
write these?
 Encourage your child to count to 20,
can they recognise the numbers 120? Can your child put the numbers
in the correct order? Can they add
one more or one less to a given
number?
 Encourage your child to retell the
story of The Three Little Pigs.
