Minimum charge of $225 for up to 15 children
Additional children: $15/child
Free admission for one adult per child, up to 20 children

BIRTHDAY PARTY DETAILS
All Birthday Party Options Include:
• Private party room reserved for two hours for up to 40 total guests to enjoy opening presents, having treats and other pre-approved
fun! (may access the room 30 min. prior to reserved time for set-up)
• Science City party host to provide assistance and ensure a fun and safe birthday experience.
• General admission to the Science Center for all reserved party guests to explore, experiment and create with science for the day.
• Host family will receive identifying birthday wristbands to distribute to their guests upon arrival. Birthday party guests will be escorted
from the Science City entrance to the party room as a group.
• Host family will have access to one “Science City VIP” parking spot for convenience of loading and unloading.
• Host family will be provided one cart to assist with loading and unloading of supplies.
• At the end of their scheduled 2-hour reservation, guests should exit and vacate the party room. There is no post-party storage. The
birthday wristbands are valid for continued Science City fun until closing on party date.
• No candles, helium balloons or tape on surfaces. Tabletop decorations are welcome!
• In addition to birthday cake, birthday party families may bring food into the Science City party room, provided that it does not need
refrigeration or to be kept hot. Hot plates, chaffing dishes and crockpots are not permitted. No food/beverage deliveries from outside
eating establishments/restaurants are allowed. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. It is the responsibility of the host family to bring
all needed supplies, including paper goods, utensils, serving pieces, table cloths and ice.​
Science Enthusiast Party Also Includes:
• a 60-Minute Reservation in one of the science center’s Discovery Areas based upon your program choice.

Non-refundable deposit of $120 is due at time of booking.
Must be USKC member at time of booking to receive the USKC member discount.
It is recommended that families book parties at least one month in advance.
Discovery Area Programs require at least (3) weeks advance booking. All bookings are subject to availability.
Any requests to reschedule your party’s date or time less than 3 weeks prior to the date of your previously scheduled party, will result
in a $50 rescheduling fee. This will be due at the time of rescheduling. No specific date or time can be guaranteed when rescheduling.
Minimum charge for 15 attendees, but the actual birthday party can have fewer guests.
There must be at least one adult chaperone for every five children. Children must be with a chaperone at all times.
The final count of children and adult chaperones for parties must be received three business days prior to the party. Any additional
admissions requested after that three-day window will need to purchase Science City tickets at the regular rate.
If unaccounted guests arrive the day-of-event, these guests will need to purchase Science City tickets at the Box Office. Additionally,
unaccounted guests will be unable to participate in the “Science Enthusiast” Program.
Payment in full is due three business days prior to the scheduled party. MasterCard, VISA, American Express & Discover are accepted.
Parking fees are not included with the birthday packages. General parking applies, with the exception of the host family.
If the science center is closed due to inclement weather, the Science City team will work with the host family to either reschedule for
another date, or provide a refund in full.
