MORE ABOUT JORDAN My Most important influence/memory… I remember seeing a classical guitarist's Master's recital at Brock University when I was in my last year of high school. This guy played all sorts of cool modern stuff. I had never heard music like this on an acoustic guitar no less. I was set for learning more about guitar (at the time) and classical-based music. My Proudest moment… I was quite proud of my solo cello recital that I did a few years ago; lots of cool 20th century stuff My Favourite Composers… No particular order – Xenakis, Schnittke, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev My Favourite Painters… Currently - pre-Group of Seven Canadian painters - William Brymner, Otto Jacobi, Maurice Cullen oh, and local artist, Dave Carlin, is awesome! My Most Interesting Musical Performers… Cellist Frances-Marie Uitti performs some very interesting stuff with effects and double-bow and a metal cello even! My Favourite Colour… Blue, usually What I appreciate most about my students… I appreciate my students' interest in playing music (the journey has begun!) My Dream of Happiness… My life as it is for things are what they are and I am quite happy. Though not to be lax in wanting to push myself and such. My Greatest Misfortune… To not be able, physically, to play music My motto… I don't know for sure...life is about working to better oneself through new experiences and new acquaintances 705-494-7744 [email protected]
