What is the NFJP?
The National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)
is a nationally directed job training and employment program. It was created by Congress in
response to the chronic seasonal unemployment
and underemployment experienced by agricultural workers. It is currently authorized under
section 167 of the Workforce Innovation and
Opportunity Act (WIOA) and is a partner of the
local One-Stop delivery system.
How can the NFJP help you?
The NFJP can help you find full-time year round
employment. You may be eligible to receive assistance with paying for training classes. The
NFJP may also help you obtain a job while you
train and earn wages. In addition some necessary
expenses may be paid to allow you to complete
training.
Do I have anything to lose?
The NFJP is funded by the Department of
Labor, therefore, there is no charge to our
clients or to the companies who use our
services.
