Read the passage. Answer the questions.
On a crisp winter day, I take my dog Sadie for her morning walk. We
bring along the ball. When I toss the ball, Sadie soars over the snowbank like
a white-tailed hawk. Silently, she pounces on the ground and captures her
victim. The ball is a small, defenseless creature in her grasp. With her tail
wagging, she shares her prey with me. I take it, and Sadie licks my hand.
