“The changing Accounting and Economic Landscape: Opportunities and
Challenges for the East African Community”.
The 1st East Africa Congress of Accountants (EACOA) will be held in Arusha –
Tanzania from 5th to 7th March 2015.
The objective of the conference is to create a forum for professional accountants
in the region to interact, seek opportunities and to discuss issues impacting the
accounting profession in the region.
The conference is jointly organised by the Accounting Bodies in the Region:
OPC Burundi ; Institute of Certified Accountants Kenya (ICPAK); Institute of
Certified Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR); National Board of Accountants and
Auditors –Tanzania (NBAA);Institute of Certified Accountants of Uganda
(ICPAU).NBAA is the host of the conference.
Members of the accountancy profession, academicians and all interested
persons are invited to attend this important professional conference.
