Processing Claims for Lilly and Lilly Export – Effective January 1, 2016
Dear Pharmacy Partner:
abarca health is pleased to announce that we have been selected by Lilly and Lilly Export for Pharmacy Benefit
Manager services. All pharmacy claims for members will be processed and adjudicated by abarca health
beginning on January 1, 2016 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
All members will receive a new member card but will maintain their current Cardholder ID.
To ensure a positive experience for your pharmacy and patients, please be sure to configure your system or work
with software vendors as necessary to be able to adjudicate these claims to abarca health versus the plans’
previous Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Existing refills will be covered as allowed by the benefit without the need
for a new prescription from the physician.
Below you will find important information needed to effectively process pharmacy claims through abarca health.
Please be aware that the processing 4Rx information is different for Lilly and Lilly Export, see below.
