Updated: 07-01-2015 Mysterytrain Technical Requirements Introduction The purpose of this technical rider is to help us all provide the best performance situation possible. We are an improvisational band with an easy-going and joyful vibe. Our music is not excessively loud, and we intend the audience to hear every part clearly and without distortion. Lights should be tasteful and not flashy. We travel with our sound engineer who, for an extra fee, can bring a sound system sufficient for all but the most demanding concerts and festivals. The lead engineer is David Muddiman, who can work with any audio gear that he determines is good enough for the situation, contact him to co-ordinate what is going to be at your event. We sometimes have Lighting Designers, Steve and/or Tommy. Dan is band leader, percussionist Jacob manages band finances. We look forward to making your event special for everyone as well as smooth and pleasant for everyone involved in the planning. Many shows are different. Some are busy restaurants, some are large outdoor fields, sometimes we are the headliner, sometimes we humbly open for very important people. This document attempts to describe what we would like, but each event is unique so please call (Dan for band or Dave for production) about each of your questions or concerns before the event. Billing In all advertising and publicity, refer to the band as “Mysterytrain”. Please note that “Mysterytrain” is spelled as one single word. Be aware spelling correction on your computer may change what you type into two words.
