It was fabulous and we have posted some pictures on our Facebook page ­ check it out!! If you are coming to Breakfast with Books next Tuesday please remember that the book from our Visiting Author and Illustrator will be available to purchase! They have also offered to sign a book plate and send it to school so you can have a “signed copy” of this book. Just let Mrs. Johansson know if you would like this. End of 2nd Trimester Friday, February 26 marks the end of the 2nd Trimester. Report Cards will be coming home soon!! Parent/Teacher Conferences Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25 and Tuesday, Mar. 1. If you are having difficulties signing up for a time slot online, please call the main office for assistance!! Westside Carnival It's time to start planning for our Annual Spring Carnival! We are looking for help in the Food Committee, Prize Committee, Silent Auction Committee, and most importantly Co­Chair. They can also be ordered online at ybpay.lifetouch.com with yearbook code 8415616. Westside Superhero T­Shirts We are offering another chance to order Westside’s Superhero T­Shirts. If you need to or would like to order more t­shirts, please fill out the order form attached to this Westsider and return it and payment to the school office by Friday, March 11th. Just like in the fall, there are both adult and child sizes available. Our Character Ed Superhero theme will be for two years so we will be using the t­shirts next year as well! We are hoping to have the orders to hand out when we return from Spring Break! RF4C Registration Beginning March 7 registration forms for our RF4C (4k) program will be accepted at Westside Elementary. For more information on our RF4C program visit the website at ​

We will begin taking calls for appointments on March 28, 2016. If you have a child or know of one that will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2016 and will be attending Kindergarten next year, please see the attached flyer for more information! Spring Break...Looking Ahead Spring Break will be March 21­25 this year. School will resume Monday, March 28th. Summer School Is Coming! June 13 through July 14 ​

for the 2016-2017 school year
Thursday, April 7th
Kindergarten registration for next year will be held on
between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Registration is
for all children age 5 years old by September 1, 2016, who plan on attending public school
in River Falls this coming year.
To register your child, please call your neighborhood elementary school Monday through
Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm to set up an appointment. Times will be
assigned on a first come first serve basis. The elementary schools will begin taking
appointments on Monday, March 28.
Please bring your child’s certified birth certificate and immunization record to registration.
Due to limited space in the registration rooms we ask that you do not bring siblings.
