Vacation Bible School will take place on June 26-30 from 9:00 AM – Noon.
Hero Central will take kids on awesome adventures with some of their favorite
Bible heroes. A registration form is available in this newsletter as well as at the church.
Watch for sign up for teachers, helpers and supplies.

WE NEED YOU! Call Kim at 423-7510. Training date will be set in
September.
The Prayer Chain could still use one more person to receive a call, say a prayer and make a call
to the next person on the prayer chain to do the same. Please contact June at 423-4182 or Kim
at 423-7510 if you would like to help with this important ministry.
Women & Wine
A meeting will take place Sunday, May 21st at noon in Gero Hall to choose a new study book
to begin in the fall. All women are invited to bring their ideas and join in!
On Saturday, April 1st, several Gloria Dei members received their certification in CPR and
learned how to use an Automated External Defibrillator. We have purchased our own AED
which is available to trained members should an emergency arise.

A special thank you to Norma Binns who makes the cakes for Gloria Dei’s special occasions
including New Member Sunday and Graduation Sunday. Please take a minute to thank Norma
for her time and talent as you enjoy her cakes!
On May 21st we will have several new members joining. A coffee hour will be held after each
service to welcome them as part of the Gloria Dei family.

Congratulations to our graduates, Emily Gillen, Megan LaFollette and Alexia Rolland.
On Graduation Sunday, June 4th at 9:30 AM we will honor our graduates during worship
and following worship with a special coffee hour. Special thanks to the Quilters for supplying
the handmade quilts and blankets for the high school graduates.
We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on June 4th as we welcome Louden Mears
Wallace into God’s family. Louden is the son of Marc and Tiffani Wallace. On June 25 th we
will welcome Grayson Nicholas Benschoter into God’s family through the Sacrament of Holy
Baptism. Grayson is the son of Nicholas and Andrea Benschoter.
Mark your calendar for the Toledo Mud Hens game on August 12th at 7:00 pm. Social Ministry
will be selling tickets in July.
George Eidson will be 85 years young in July! Let’s have a card shower for him as he has
showered us with many fishing stories over the years. Send your cards to Gloria Dei,
108 W. Brown Street, Tecumseh, MI 49286 or drop them in the box on the office door. They
will be collected and presented on July 2nd. Add a fishing story in the card if you want!
Thanks to the Social Ministry Committee for coordinating the 5K Fun Run. A total of
$4,126.05 was raised to benefit the Lenawee County Homeless Education Program!
Thanks to all the sponsors, walkers, runners and helpers. We had 74 participants!

March & April were favorable months for giving with the help of Lenten services.
