Alliteration Project

Ms. Romanowski
Alliteration Project
Without knowing it, you probably use alliteration to call your attention to certain words and ideas. Many
familiar phrases and expressions use alliteration. For example, many say that they are “down in the
dumps” or that an event has “turned the tables.”
Drawing on your understanding of tongue twisters and alliteration, you will create a sentence using your
name as the subject to demonstrate alliteration.
Some examples are: Kind Kelly kept the kittens in the kitchen; Awesome Ally ate all of the artichokes and
anchovies; Fat Floyd flipped flat flapjacks.
You must include the following:


One line demonstrating alliteration that includes your name written on paper.
A picture, drawn originally and colored on the same paper as the tongue twister, that supplements
the basic story the language suggests.
Your project will be due on Tuesday, March 18 at the start of class.
