Welcome to The Color Run™ Shine Tour 2015!
We have developed this race guide to provide you with all the information you will need to make your experience at the event as FANTASTIC as possible. Welcome to the Happiest 5k on the Planet!
Check-in Party
Come to the Check-in Party and pick up your race
packet! In order to pick up your packet, please
remember to bring a printed or digital copy of
your confirmation email with the QR code on it.

You can also pick up packets for your friends and
teammates provided you have a copy of their
confirmation email as well.
If you are unable to make it on Saturday, you
can pick up your packet on Sunday (race day).
Please plan on being early.
You cannot pick up packets for other runners
without their QR code!
Race Day Check-In Party
Reminder: You cannot transfer your registration to another
runner within 1 week of the event. Groupon registrations are
non-transferable

You will receive your t-shirt, tattoo, and headband at check
in.You will receive your Medal, SHINE powder pack, and
Color Pack when you cross the finish line. Please make sure
to wear your race bib on race day!
Running with Children
Participants that will be running with their
children are encouraged to pick up a wristband
for their child (pictured below).
You can pick up a wristband at the check-in
party.
Please note: There are no lockers or bag drop facilities so arrive ready to run and plan to keep any items you bring with you or
leave your valuables at home.

Getting There
There will be NO race day parking at Carson Park. All
participants, volunteers and spectators MUST park in
one of the designated lots and take a race shuttle bus.
See next page for map.
Participants, spectators and volunteers may also park
on the street near the entrance of Carson Park at
Lake Street and walk to the start line area. It is about
a half-mile walk. LAST SHUTTLE TO CARSON
PARK WILL LEAVE AT 8:40. PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO PARK AND CATCH A
SHUTTLE.

Don’t feel like running but want to get in on the
fun? Consider volunteering and be part of The
Happiest 5k on the Planet!
Shuttle buses will be running every few minutes between each lot and the race venue. Shuttle service
begins at 7 a.m. and will continue through 12 noon. There is also substantial street parking near the Carson
Park entrance at Lake Street. It is about a half-mile walk from this area to the race start.

It’s your year to
Reminders
● To find lost items or to be reunited with friends,
our Lost & Found area will be located at/near the
Check-in tent.
● Please attach your bib number so it is visible on
your shirt. This is how you will be identified as a
Color Runner.
● Teams may run in a group or separately, it is
completely up to you.
● Friends and family are welcome to meet up with
participants in the general festival areas. Only
Color Runners will be allowed in the finish chute
area.

Safety First
● Alcohol is NOT allowed at The Color Run.
● Runners please keep to the left; walkers and
participants with strollers, etc. keep to the right.
● If running with small children, please watch and
direct them through the race.
● If you are concerned at all with any part of the
run, feel free to wear safety glasses, a bandana,
or dust mask.
● Please follow any directions provided by race
officials, volunteers, and law enforcement.
● No glass bottles, containers etc. allowed at the
venue (parking lots, sidewalks, streets, course,
etc.)
● Above all, please be courteous and respectful to
everyone around you.
