Hello Everyone,
Can you believe the summer is over and fall has officially
begun? That means it is once again time for our annual
Charitable Giving Campaign. One constant, year after
year, is that Prince William County employees care about
their community and do what they can to help those less
fortunate.
This year, our campaign will run Monday, October 19
through Friday, October 30. All charities that County
employees added or contributed to in previous years should be on this year’s list.
I recognize that many of you already give to charities here in the community and
elsewhere. I thank you for your giving! The reason we put such an emphasis on this
campaign is that it is an easy way to donate money through payroll deduction and an
easy way to directly help Prince William residents.
Last year, our goal was $125,000, and I was overwhelmed with your response when we
actually raised $130,442! Our goal this year is $132,000. As always, it is an ambitious
goal, but one I know we can achieve together. Keep watching PWConnects for
announcements throughout the campaign; and thank you in advance for all that you do
for our community in so many ways!
I am proud to work with each of you whether you decide to participate or not in this
program. You continually show me and the citizens we all serve that you truly are
