East Catholic continues to make a strong commitment to our families

East Catholic continues to make a strong commitment to our families by offering need-based
tuition assistance and merit scholarships. For the 2015 – 2016 school year East Catholic High
School awarded approximately $1.3 million dollars in tuition assistance and merit awards. Each
year close to 50% of the student body receives some form of tuition assistance.
Merit based scholarships, for which need is not a prerequisite, are based on elementary school
students' test scores from the November and December entrance exams. These Merit
Scholarships are renewed throughout the four years at East Catholic for students in good
academic standing. Additional scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance,
need, or a combination of both factors. Several Catholic parishes along with home and school
organizations from Catholic schools offer a number of scholarships to students who wish to
continue their education at East Catholic High School.
Tuition assistance is determined with the help of an assessment by FACTS.
Over the years, alumni, family, and friends have chosen to honor an individual or a family while
helping students with tuition assistance by funding an endowed scholarship. A portion of the
annual earnings ensures that students in financial need can take advantage of all the educational
opportunities that East Catholic High School has to offer. Endowed scholarships may be initiated
with a gift to the school in the amount of $25,000. Annual scholarships may be established with
an amount of $500 or more. Please contact Sarah Adanti, Director of Advancement, by calling

giving to an existing scholarship or creating a new one.
