LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT TO THE CONGREGATION
June 2011
Present: Scott Bailey, Diane Bartholic, Kyle Bartholic,
Dale Cepull, Cass Everett, John Harrocks,
Connie Panach, Sid Paul [recorder]
Devotional and Prayer: John opened the meeting with a
devotional in Ezra–The Hand of God. Ezra devoted
himself to fast and pray; and then he moved out in faith
and action. And prayer . . . prayer is not preliminary to
the work; prayer is the work.
Financial Report–Dale Cepull
• Trends continue to be mostly positive.
• Dale suggested that Leadership should give some
thought to paying some extra each month on the loan.
Benefits and options to doing that were discussed.
Youth Ministry Report–Kyle Bartholic
• A monthly printed report was provided for the month of
May.
• Kyle presented his proposal [previously provided to LT
via e-mail] regarding a dedicated space for The Spring.
Miscellaneous Items
• A roundtable discussion on leadership was conducted.
Elder’s Report–John Harrocks
• The pulpit is nearly filled through the summer.
• John will lead a Sunday evening small group study
entitled “When God’s Spirit Moves.”
Discipleship Report–Diane Bartholic
• Diane provided a printed ‘report’ intended to lead
toward a Ministry Fair in September. The dates for this
event are tentatively set for September 18 and 25.
• Before the Ministry Fair, there are plans that include
assembling a team of people and presenting a
workshop on spiritual gifts.
• “Resound” is a ministry of making disciples through
women’s ministries in the E Free Church. Diane
participated in a workshop and is working toward the
opportunity to institute such a ministry at CCF.
• We will look into the opportunity to participate in coming
community festivals in our area.
Building/Property Report–Scott Bailey
• Entrance–Dave Panach will pick up the permit this week;
Bill Miller anticipates doing the job in August.
• Driveway–Dusty Bigenho detailed his plans for
completing the job and provided a bid for the job.
