for the office of Secretary for the Vermont/New
Hampshire Society for Respiratory Care.
My name is Tom Pszenny, and I have been
the Secretary for the VT/NH Society since 2014. I
also have done photography for the Society since
2012, and prior to that I was involved with the
Colorado Society for Respiratory Care, mostly
doing their photography, from 2008-2011. I am
currently a staff therapist at Southern NH Medical
Center in Nashua, NH and also work per diem at
St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua. I greatly enjoy
serving the membership and look forward to doing
so again for another two years.
Lisa DePalo
My name is Lisa DePalo. I have been a
Respiratory Therapist for 22 years licensed in 3
New England states. I graduated from NH
Technical College in Claremont, NH with my
Associates Degree. Since I entered into the
Respiratory field I have worked in many
different positions. The first 10 years I worked
in critical care hospitals gaining first-hand
experience. I have also worked in Ventilator
Rehabilitation expanding my clinical knowledge
in high tech care. For the past 12 years I have
worked in home care. I started as a staff
therapist working my way up to Management of
home care therapists that cover the states of
NH and VT and some parts of MA, NY, ME.
Throughout the 22 years in this field, I was also
a Respiratory Therapist in a Combat Support
Hospital with the US Army.
I would feel honored to become the Member at
Large for the VT/NH Respiratory Society. I
believe my commitment to Respiratory, vast
knowledge and experience in the field of
Respiratory would make me a great asset to
the Society. I have a strong comparison for the
field and would like to be a part of it moving
forward.
Jessie Exilus
While I am originally from Maine, I have
worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center
for a couple of years as a staff therapist. I am
also pursuing my bachelor’s in Respiratory
Care. I have worked on the education
committee for the VT/NH SRC for the last two
years, helping with the meetings in Meredith
and at Killington, and attending board meetings
within that capacity. I feel that I am a good fit
for the Board Member at the Large position
because of the passion for ensuring high
quality continuing education that I have brought
to the education committee. I believe that I
would be a good representative of RCP's from
both states because I want to help ensure that
respiratory care is a sustainable profession and
I am interested in a large role in the society to
meet that goal.
