Since the new Five-Star quality measures have been incorporated into Nursing Home
Compare, there’s more than ever to keep track of as residents and families look at your
rating. Karolee Alexander of Pathway Health will use an interactive approach to walk you
through the domains of the Five-Star rating (health survey, staffing, and quality measures)
and discuss how each domain score is calculated. Together you’ll explore QAPI strategies
for investigating and improving your center’s rating in each domain. The program will
conclude with a discussion about how the overall Five-Star rating is calculated and
approaches for using data to monitor and improve quality outcomes at your center.
