SURFACE PREPARATION
General:
Read the Lead Warning in Cautions section.
Clean the surface thoroughly to remove surface
contamination, mildew, stains, and rust with an
appropriate cleaner. Scrape off any loose or
peeling paint. Spot prime when needed. Dull
glossy surfaces with light sanding.
Drywall:
Fill cracks, pits and voids with patching
compound or spackle, let dry and sand smooth.
Joint compounds must be cured and sanded
smooth. Remove all sanding dust.
Plaster:
Allow new plaster to fully cured and hard.
Surface should be free of dust.
Wood:
Sand wood smooth and patch holes and
imperfections with wood filler or putty and sand
smooth. Remove all sanding dust.
Block:
Masonry surfaces and mortar should be fully
cured, usually about 30 days. Remove any
loose material or dust.
Concrete/Masonry:
New surfaces should be cured, usually 30
days. Remove all form release or curing
agents. Surfaces should be free of loose
materials and dust.
Mildew Removal:
Remove mildew or suspected mildew by
scrubbing with a commercial mildew remover or
a solution of 1 part chlorine bleach to 3 parts
water. Allow solution to remove on surface for
10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water and
allow surface to dry completely. Take
precautions to avoid contact with skin or eyes.
APPLICATION
Stir thoroughly and intermix multiple containers
of the same color. Apply products at
temperatures ranging from 50-90 °F. Apply by
brush, roller or spray application. Thinning is
not recommended.
LEAD WARNING
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old
paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS
TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN
CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN
DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN.
PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID
EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved
respirator to control lead exposure. Clean-up
carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop.

This product is warranted to meet the
application, appearance and performance
properties stated on the label. This warranty
covers product that is applied to a properly
prepared surface in accordance with label
directions and excludes failure due to
deterioration of the underlying surface,
structural defects or failure of previous paint. If
the product fails to perform as warranted, return
any unused portion to the store with proof-ofpurchase and you will receive, as your sole
remedy under this warranty, your choice of
additional product of equal value or a full
refund. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES LABOR
OR THE COST OF LABOR FOR THE
APPLICATION OF ANY PRODUCT AND
EXCLUDES ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary
from state to state.
CAUTIONS
WARNING! Contains Crystalline Silica. KEEP
OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. May
cause eye and skin irritation. USE ONLY WITH
ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Avoid breathing
vapors, spray mist or sanding dust. If painting
indoors, open windows and doors or use other
means to ensure fresh air entry during
application and drying. If you experience eye
watering, headache or dizziness, or if air
monitoring demonstrates vapor/mist levels are
above applicable limits, wear an appropriate,
properly fitted respirator (NIOSH approved)
during and after application. Follow respirator
manufacturer’s directions for respirator use.
When sanding, wear a dust mask. AVOID
CONTACT WITH THE EYES AND SKIN. Wash
thoroughly after use. Close container after each
use. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. Delayed
effect from long-term exposure: Cancer
Hazard. Contains crystalline silica, which can
cause cancer. Risk depends upon duration and
level of exposure to dust generated from
sanding surfaces or spray mist. WARNING:
This product contains a chemical known to the
State of California to cause cancer. FIRST AID:
EYE CONTACT: Flush thoroughly with water
for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get
medical attention.* IF INHALED: If affected by
vapor or spray mist, move to fresh air. If
breathing difficulty continues, get medical
attention.* IF SWALLOWED: Drink 2 glasses of
water. Get medical attention immediately.*
