WCCS Summer Math Packets
2016-2017 School Year
Dear WCCS Students,
Please complete the summer math packet for the math class you will be taking next school
year. Unless you register within two weeks of the beginning of the school year, you are responsible
to complete the packet before the first day of school. Your first test grade of the quarter will include
50% completion grade for the summer packet and 50% from a skills assessment given in class at the
end of the first week.
This packet will be collected from each student the first day back and adequate work must
be shown for problems as appropriate. Five points will be deducted for each day the assignment
is not turned in to your math teacher.
If you have trouble working the problems, look at online resources, ask a friend or parent for help.
Problems should be familiar from your previous course of math and help you prepare for success in
the next course. In some cases, you may need to refresh your memory as your work through the
problems. Please refer to the list of online resources below. There are many more resources and
videos available on certain topics if you do an online search. We hope you have a blessed summer!
