Diary of a Witness – The Trojan War Now that we have studied Homer and his descriptions of the Trojan War, an epic battle during the Dark Ages in Greece, it is your turn to demonstrate your understanding of the conflict. Describe the major events of the war in your diary –beginning, middle, and end C. 1st Two paragraphs (Introduction) Describe the events surrounding the cause of the war. D. 2nd Two Paragraphs – Describe your characters role in the war and how it ended E. 3rd Two Paragraphs – Describe your feelings about the war Create a 16 square cartoon using 16 major events of the war from the perspective of one of the following: A. 1. Total = 20 points Step 1: Select your character. Step 2: As a table (group) you will list 15 events from beginning to end. All group members list all selected events. Step 3: As a class, teacher writes down sequence of events using student responses. Step 4: Put everything away except you pile of notes from the movie. Take out a sheet of paper.
